When should i book my alterations?

Ideally we should be starting your alterations 2-4 months before your wedding. If you are working with a shorter time frame don’t panic still reach out and I will do my best to accommodate and expedite the process!

What about shoes and undergarments?

Before alterations can start you need to have your shoes and undergarments that you plan on wearing day of. Changing these items up between fittings can affect measurements greatly in the alteration process. If you are struggling to find the right ones just reach out I’m always happy to share some resources for making the shopping easier!

How do i know how long of a veil to get?

It truly depends on personal preference what length to get. But if you wan’t to envision where the veil would fall on you I have some tips for measuring! While wearing your dress take a tape measure hold it to the top of your head and let it drape behind you. Now consider where you want the veil to end in comparison to the end of your dress and theirs your measurement! If you are wanting a blusher to hang in front of your face repeat the process but drape the measuring tape in front of your face instead. Remember to consider how you might be holding your bouquet when looking at blusher length!

Just what it sounds like! I come to you for all the fittings then take the dress back with me to my sewing studio for the alterations. By not having a large storefront it allows me to offer an excellent personalized services at a lower rate!
